Artisana Organic Nut Butters Review

Review Artisana ORGANIC NUT BUTTERS

For all of you, I share many unique, delicious, and healthy (okay not always) foods and recipes because it’s something I love to do. Imagine when I find a company that share’s that same kind of passion for their gourmet line of foods. Artisana Foods has created lines of organic nut butters, coconut butters/oil, and chocolate spread. As a food blogger, I was excited to receive my Artisana Nut Butters sample in the mail for this review.

Nut butters are a more flavorful and health-conscious spin on traditional peanut butter. Plus, they are wonderful alternatives for anyone that has a peanut allergy. Made in a production setting that is exposed to tree nuts only, you don’t have to worry about a cross-contamination with peanuts, gluten, dairy, or soy in any way. Let me share a little about their unique crafting process. Artisana organic nut butters are handmade in Oakland, CA and follow strict food safety protocols to ensure quality products every time. Through a temperature controlled process to puree the raw products, important vitamins and minerals are preserved: enzymes, proteins, vitamins, and fatty acids.

Know that Artisana uses only the freshest ingredients in each batch with their walnut and almond selection being the best you can find in California. Using only 100% certified organic nuts, seeds, and coconut meat. You don’t have to worry about the use of toxic pesticides, other chemicals, or genetically modified organisms. You won’t find added ingredients like oil, sugar, preservatives or artificial flavors. It’s truly the freshest way possible to get a quality product that is fresh, the most healthy for human consumption, and something that tastes great!

Something that most consumers may not realize is that Artisana nut butters are packed full of energy. Don’t worry about ruining your breakfast or afternoon snack with a cup of coffee. Consider eating a healthy snack that includes one of six Artisana nut butter flavors:

Almond Butter: This one was on the dry side, and probably our least favorite.
Walnut Butter: If you love walnuts this is the butter for you! It had a nice strong walnut flavor. Would be great in a recipe.
Pecan Butter with Cashews: This one was really nice and creamy. Loved it!
Cashew Butter: This was good, but we preferred it mixed with the pecan or macadamia.
Macadamia Butter with Cashews: We loved this butter. Think chunky peanut butter, but better!
Coconut Butter: This one is creamy, and on the dry side, but it has a great coconutty flavor.
Cacoa Butter: It was really good and had a nice chocolatey flavor to it.

You may have noticed the packets of nut butters in my photo. These are convenient squeeze packages that you can take with you on-the-go, pack in a lunch box, or have on hand as a taste tester. You dont’ have to invest in a jar of a particular flavor of nut butter just to try it. Each package contains one serving, so you can’t go wrong!

Disclosure: I received a product sample from Artisana as compensation for this product review. All opinions shared are my own.
