Homemade Lemon Orange Air Freshener Spray

I have been using this spray for a while now and I really like it. It has a nice refreshing scent. I use it in my car to freshen things up a bit. I spray it in the cat room, the bathroom, the living room, the bedroom. I guess you could say, I spray it everywhere!

This is a very versatile spray. I love the scent of lemon and oranges, but you can change the scent to whatever you want. Also, for those of you that don’t want to buy Vodka, try making it with Witch Hazel. It works great using either one of them.

By now, you all know I like a lot of scent in my “recipes.” If you don’t want the scent this strong, use half of the essential oil that this recipe calls for, you can always add more later!

Homemade Lemon Orange Air Freshener Spray

Here is what you will need:
1 Spray Bottle
1/4 cup Vodka or Witch Hazel
1/4 teaspoon Lemon Essential Oils
1/4 teaspoon Orange Essential Oils

Measure ingredients and pour into small spray bottle.
(I used a funnel.)

Let sit for one day before using.
This will give the scents time to blend together.
Shake before each use.

Enjoy!

I’ve looked into making my own scents before Robyn, but I think I will definately have to give it a try…but is there enough vodka left over for me to enjoy?!?! lol!

Oh this is great! We have been making our own for a while now and love it. We made a decision a few years ago to try our best and remove as many toxins and chemicals from our home as we could and this is a big one. So many people have no idea what they are breathing when they buy commercial air fresheners. If they would Google the ingredients they would be shocked! Thanks for sharing such a great recipe!

This sounds easy enough to make and you wouldn’t believe how much air freshners, wax melts, etc. we use. Thanks for sharing this
