Honey, Nutmeg, and Cinnamon DIY Face Mask

If someone had told me that honey was good for your skin,
I probably would have given them a funny look.
Really, Honey?! Who knew!
Well obviously someone did and that someone was Liz @  Liz Marie Blog!
I found her recipe, for this great DIY face mask on pinterest.com and just had to give it a try!

Honey, Nutmeg, and Cinnamon DIY Face Mask

Here is what you need:
(slightly adapted from original recipe)
2 tablespoons Honey
1 tablespoon Nutmeg
1 tablespoon Cinnamon

Mix all ingredients in a small 4 oz jar.
It smells sooo good!

Put mixture on face and leave on for 30 minutes.
Rinse and then apply your favorite moisturizer.
( I like to use Almond Oil)Enjoy a nice exfoliated face.

To get the maximum effect of the mask use it for a couple days in a row.

Oh, and I wouldn’t recommend putting as much as I did on your face. :o)
It tends to drip if you do.
On the up side, I have four little furry babies that had a great treat tonight.

Have a great week!

Edited to add: If you have sensitive skin, omit the cinnamon as it can be a little harsh on the face.
