How to Simplify Your Fall Cooking

There’s something wonderful about cooking during the fall months. However, fall cooking can begin to get a little overwhelming. I wanted to chat about how to simplify your fall cooking and make things easier on yourself.

Use the Slow Cooker

If you really want to simplify cooking this fall, utilize your slow cooker. You can cook any type of vegetable or meat in a slow cooker and it makes life so much easier on you. You can also create chili, soup, or even desserts in a slow cooker, so the options are endless.

Cook in Batches

If you’re really looking for a way to make fall cooking a little easier, consider cooking in batches. The freezer is a great tool for ensuring items last longer to help save you time and money. Instead of making just one batch of potato soup, make 3-4 batches and put them in the freezer for later. Don’t forget to date them, so you know how long they will be good.

Indoor Grill

Cooking on the grill is still important to me in the winter time. I make sure I utilize my indoor grill as much as possible. I still cook things like hamburgers and hotdogs because my family enjoys those items all year long. I also feel as though it adds a little bit of variety to my cooking. Of course, those nights I don’t feel like preparing an elaborate meal, the indoor grill works wonders. I also cook chicken and those sorts of items on the grill.

Make More Drinks

Not a fan of cooking in the fall? Simplify your cooking routine by making more drinks this fall. Make your very own pumpkin spice latte instead of a pumpkin pie. Use your imagination to try drinks that you love during the fall season, feel free to add your own little twist.
