My View: Photo’s from this weekend’s beach trip.

It sounds funny, to me, to say,
“We went on a beach trip this weekend.”
You see, I live at the beach.

Going to the beach is one of our favorite things to do together.
There is just something calming (and romantic)
about walking on the beach for hours.

The blue sky,

the sound of the waves,

the birds and other sea life,

the tide pools,

 finding seashells and rocks,

and finding interesting things that have washed up on the beach.

Of course, around here,
we go to the beach no matter what the weather is like!
Rain, Wind, Stormy, Cold, Hot.

The beach is the whole reason we live here.
We love it and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!

I hope you will enjoy the photo’s as much as I enjoyed seeing it in real life!

Bandon Lighthouse, Bandon, Oregon

These harbor seals weren’t too far off the beach.

I could have walked right up to them. Of course, I would never do that.
Not only is it against the law, but I wouldn’t want to frighten any of them,
especially the mom and her baby.

I was so excited I got this photo. That little guy was so cute!

I love how he is smiling!
He must have known I was taking his picture!
I had a better picture of the sea anemones but they were all closed.
This one gives you a nice idea of what they look like open and closed.

Starfish are my favorite!

Gorgeous blue sky!

I found this really cool float.
It has oysters growing on it that are not from our area.
Japan, perhaps?
Needless to say, someone picked it up from my hiding spot and took it.
I was really bummed.
It would have been really cool to try and
figure out where it might have come from!
Oh, well, the next time The Husband says,
“Put it here and come back for it.”
 I can say, “NO!”
In a very nice and loving manner, of course!

I hope everyone has a great week!

Cool! I’ve never been to Oregon, but I hope to someday. Ok, technically I drove through to Prineville and back (to NV), but there really wasn’t much to see that way! Not like the ocean!
